Modern Coding School operates on a simple principle: we collect the minimum data required to run the school and nothing more. We do not track you. We do not sell your data. We do not use third-party analytics.
What we collect
- Email address — required for cohort communication and credential delivery.
- Application content — the build and evaluation you submit. Used only for admissions decisions.
- Usage logs — server logs (IP, timestamp, path) retained for 7 days for security purposes.
What we do not collect
- Cookies (except a session cookie if you log in to the lab — no tracking cookies).
- Analytics of any kind (no GA, no Plausible, nothing).
- Behavioural data, fingerprints, or cross-site tracking.
Where data lives
Data is self-hosted on our own infrastructure, in the EU. No data is sent to third-party processors except email delivery (we use a transactional email provider for credential notifications — details on request).
Your rights
GDPR applies. Request deletion, access, or correction: hello@moderncoding.school.
